The company
Registered agent. Yes. A Colorado registered agent with a physical Colorado street address is required; an individual agent must be 18 or older, and the entity may act as its own agent.
Owner privacy. Member and manager names are not required in the LLC Articles of Organization, but the filing shows each organizer's name and mailing address and the filing individual's name and address, which are public.
State taxes and fees. Colorado taxes corporate income at 4.4% for tax years 2022 and later, per the Department of Revenue guide. Pass-through LLCs that file a federal return also file a Colorado income tax return.
Know before you choose
The periodic report fee is $25 a year; older guides that say $10 are out of date.
Organizer names and addresses are public even though member names are not required.
Colorado has a personal income tax, so no-state-income-tax does not apply; the Department of Revenue shows individual rates changing between years (4.25% for 2024, 4.4% for 2025).
A delinquent entity cannot get a certificate of good standing.
