Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone
Sharjah free zone established in 2017 as a subsidiary of the Sharjah Book Authority, built around publishing and now licensing 2,000+ activities.
Packages
Year-1 prices as published. The agency confirms the final price.
Fees not in the package price
What each residence visa adds
Fees on top of the licence, as the zone publishes them. "Per visa" is paid for each person, "per company" once.
Renewal
The licence
Office. Every package includes a flexi-desk; the blog says it is accepted for licensing and banking and allows unlimited visa allocation, paid per visa.
Activities. Services, Trading, E-commerce, Media. Up to 5 activities from 2,000+, up to 100 shareholders. Publishing, printing, e-commerce, consulting, general trading, media and technology are named.
Trading on the mainland. A dual licence lets a free zone company also hold a Sharjah mainland licence; it covers the Sharjah mainland only.
Bank account. SPC Plus banking assistance for a fee; partner banks listed; account opening about 3 business days after licensing. Approval stays with the bank.
Side by side
Know before you choose
- No 1-visa or 2-visa package price is published; visas are priced fee by fee. The blog says a solo founder with one investor visa should budget roughly AED 14,000-15,000 in year one; that is an estimate, not a package price.
- SPC and SHAMS publish the same 5,750 and 6,875 entry prices.
- Blog dated 18 September 2026.
Not published
We could not find these on the sources we read: a 1-visa package price, a 2-visa package price, the renewal price, the number of visas without an office.
